Der FC Flyeralarm Admira geht im Bereich Sponsoring neue Wege und vermarktet ab sofort Bitcoin als Technologie für dezentrale Zahlungssysteme. Die Warm-up-Trikots der Kampfmannschaft sowie die Match-Trikots der 2. Mannschaft, der Admira Panthers, tragen ab sofort die Brand „Bitcoin“ auf der Trikot-Brust.
„Wir schaffen mit der Brand auf den Trikots Aufmerksamkeit und kommunizieren in neue Zielgruppen“, erläutert Christian Tschida, Präsident von FC Flyeralarm Admira und betont: „Tradition und Innovation sind kein Widerspruch, sondern eine perfekte Ergänzung. Bitcoin auf den Trikots unseres Traditionsvereins unterstreicht das.“
Hinter diesem Projekt steht Unternehmer und Investor im Blockchain-Technologie-Sektor Hubertus Thonhauser, der ein aktiver Unterstützer des FC Flyeralarm Admira ist. “Bitcoin ist von Institutionen und Aufsichtsbehörden weltweit als digitaler Vermögenswert anerkannt und bietet darüber hinaus die technologische Basis für kostengünstige peer-to-peer Zahlungen mittels seinem Lightning Network. FC Flyeralarm Admira is breaking new ground in sponsorship and is now marketing Bitcoin as a technology for decentralized payment systems. The warm-up jerseys of the professional team as well as the match jerseys of the 2nd team, the Admira Panthers, now carry the brand “Bitcoin” on the jersey chest.
